Custom Heirloom Horse Doll

My horse dolls are an extra special keepsake to cherish a beloved companion. Each doll is handmade start to finish from the sewing & stuffing to the final details that are painted by hand. They are the perfect shelf pet to keep on your knick knack shelf, office desk, or wherever you’d like.

Each doll is customized to closely match your horse’s coat, colors, and markings. They are sewn with cotton fabrics, hand sewn embroidery floss mane & tails, and firmly stuffed. I capture your horse’s likeness using permanent acrylic paints and their facial features are stitched in a simple and endearing way.

The horse dolls are a perfect size for small hands, however, I do not recommend them to be used as toys due to their handmade nature and materials used are not suitable for little ones. Proper care will keep your doll at heirloom quality to be cherished for years to come. 

 Commission Rate:

Because each horse has their own individual details and patterns within their coats, some coats take longer to replicate. The coat of a Bay just isn’t as complex as a Paint or, more so, a leopard Appaloosa, and therefore, wouldn’t take as much time to complete. For that reason, I separate my custom dolls and their commissioned price into three categories (Simple, Moderate, Complex) and four sizes (Mini, Pony, Standard, Draft). When choosing your horse’s category, please select the option that best matches the description of their coat and use the photos as reference. Feel free to send a photo or two via email if you need help with choosing your horse’s category. If the wrong category is chosen and purchased, I will let you know as soon as possible and cancel the order so the correct selection can be ordered. 

Sizing Options:

The following will be the finished size of the doll. Each size is slightly different in proportions that best imitate them in real life. My interpretation of course! The finished size is approximate but shouldn’t be off by more than 1/2 inch. Measurements are in inches (HxW)

• Mini - 5.5” x 5”
• Pony - 7.5” x 5.5”
• Standard - 9” x 6”
• Draft - 10” x 7”

Color/Markings Options:

• Simple - solid colored coat with little to no markings on face and legs.
  (Ex: bay, chestnut, black, palomino, grey/white, etc)

• Moderate - 2 or more colors with med to large sized markings/patterns on the legs & body.
  (Ex: roan & tobiano paint) 

• Complex - 2 or more colors with very small to med sized markings/patterns densely located on the face, legs, body in an intricate pattern. Any combination of 2 or more pattern types (ex: roan/paint or dapple/paint) and all other intricate type of markings (brindle, zebra, etc).(Ex: appaloosa, dappled, fleabitten, overo/tovero/sabino paint, pintaloosa)

please note: Since most horses’ coats change seasonally, please choose the category and provide photos that best match the coat that you would like to be replicated so I can capture their true likeness as best as possible. 
Photos and videos of your horse in outdoor, natural lighting is preferred, but I understand that is not always possible and I can work with whatever you can provide to the best of my ability!
